Make a Donation to Support the Endangered Alphabets Project

Individual, personal donations are by far the most important source of funding for the Endangered Alphabets Project.

The work we do is so far ahead of the curve that, while there are grants for documenting, recording and revitalizing spoken languages, there is no funding for the corresponding work on endangered and emerging scripts. We are essentially writing the book as we go, part of which involves helping people see the deep and urgent connections between culture, language and writing, especially for minority cultures. One day, then, the a-ha! moment will happen, and agencies and foundations will flock to support us. Until then, our biggest help is you.

Luckily, our friends, followers and supporters understand very well why our work is valuable, and in need of being sustained. You could make a monthly recurring gift through our Patreon page, or a single gift through PayPal.

Just click on the Donate button below, or if you prefer, you can send a check payable to the Endangered Alphabets Project to: P.O. Box 4363, Burlington, VT 05406-4363, USA.

Thanks so much.

We are registered as a federal 501c3 non-profit, and will be only too pleased to accept tax-deductible donations.

P.S. You can also support the Alphabets by making purchases through Amazon Smile (smile.amazon.com) and designating the Endangered Alphabets Project as the beneficiary.

P.P.S. Some companies, including Google, match employee gifts to the Endangered Alphabets. Worth looking into. Ask if your employer has a matching-gifts program!
